Thanks For Sharing 2013 Synopsis

A romantic comedy that brings together three disparate characters who are learning to face a challenging and often confusing world as they struggle together against a common demon: sex addiction. Adam (Mark Ruffalo) is five years sober and having new relationship with Phoebe (Gwyneth Paltrow), he having problem to discuss his addiction towards Phoebe, thus their relationship is a little unstable.



Neil (Josh Gard) is having terrible problem with his addiction and the court ask him to be in the group, he also fired from his job. He met Dede at the group and they became best friend to help each other out.

Adam sponsor, Mike (Tim Robbins) is their group great leader, however he has problem on his own. He has ex-drug addicts son who also recovering. He accused his son one day after his wife missing a certain pill, and without further searching he blame his son. He later found the pill in another place!

Overall, it is a decent movie. This is not romantic comedy but serious drama with a little addition of comedy element especially through Josh Gard character. Love the scene/storyline between Tim Robbins and Patrick Fugit! It is emotional.

There are no plot twists, just a series of seemingly random, real life events and situations which plague addicts, and how addicts in recovery deal with them, sometimes successfully and sometimes not, but always making progress and learning how to live life.
