We jump after one year of Joe Carrol death - Ryan Hard is now sober, teaching criminology in university and hanging out with his NYPD niece, Max (play by Jessica Stroup - nice addition!). However, his life turn out to be messy again after three masked man assaults several people in the subway train shouted "Resurrection! Joe Carrol is alive and Ryan Hardy can't stop us".



Both Hardy and FBI Agent Mike Weston (play by Shawn Ashmore) is pulled once again by FBI Agent Ken Phillips (play by James McDaniel). Although Ryan Hardy said he is over it and did not wants to get involve, he is actually act on his own (with help from his niece, Max). He never stop, he gather lots of evidence and info on the people that might involve with Joe Carrol.

We also get a new interesting followers of Joe Carrol - the twins Luke and Mark (both play by Sam Underwood). This is really great addition and they have creepy way in killing, then play with the body, dancing, make up and others. They then leave the body as specific message to Ryan Hardy. Others follower is Gissele and Carlos (one of the masked guy). We also have Emma again! She has her own cult group and apparently new hair.

The following season 2 first episode is better than any episode of the previous reason except the fact Ryan Hardy getting hit by the cab. They already showing us how Joe Carrol (play by James Purefoy) saving himself from the explosion - pretty believable, maybe need more explanation but it is not that terrible. I like the set up and the introduction of new character - only hope Ryan Hardy came to his sense and started to share his information.
