The Great And Powerful Oz Review

Hello. Watching Oz The Great and Powerful really a tough choice for me. It is not a terrible movie, great storyline but something about the movie make me felt really boring. I kept hoping the movie is over already and i felt asleep in the cinema for a while.

I like Rachael Weisz acting, she did a good job there. but I like her more in Brother Bloom. The main actor, James Franco is not at his best performance. I do not believe the character as a con-men, but his relationship with other character is fun to watch especially with the china girl.

Mila Kunis as Theodora, the green wicked witched after eaten poisonous apple from her sister has the great storyline but the character look funny to watch.

The great things about the movie is the beautiful and stunning computer generated CG creature and panorama. It really astonish to watch the monkey and the china girl.

Plot : Oscar Diggs (James Franco), a small-time circus magician with dubious ethics, is hurled away from dusty Kansas to the vibrant Land of Oz. That all changes, however, when he meets three witches, Theodora (Mila Kunis), Evanora (Rachel Weisz), and Glinda (Michelle Williams), who are not convinced he is the great wizard everyone's been expecting. Reluctantly drawn into the epic problems facing the Land of Oz and its inhabitants, Oscar must find out who is good and who is evil before it is too late. Putting his magical arts to use through illusion, ingenuity-and even a bit of wizardry-Oscar transforms himself not only into the great and powerful Wizard of Oz but into a better man as well.
